Praxis Awarded Contract for Automation Refit “Barend Biesheuvel”

Praxis Automation Technology is pleased to announce that it recently has been awarded a contract by Maritiem Elektro Zeeland for the automation system refit onboard Dutch Coast Guard vessel “Barend Biesheuvel”. The vessel is operated by Rijkswaterstaat, particurlary for Fishery inspection purposes. The newly to be installed Praxis Mega Guard E-series automation system will replace the originally installed engine room automation system which was delivered by Praxis Automation 20 years ago when the ship was newly built. The refit program for the complete vessel will be executed at Damen Maaskant shipyard. The photo shows the “Barend Biesheuvel” sailing in convoy with Dutch Coast Guard vessel “Visarend” which Praxis Automation will also refit in 2020 at Damen Den Helder.
